The 12" CompVT sub's tough injection-molded polypropylene cone gives it the stiffness to resist distortion when you pump up the volume. Its Santoprene rubber surround keeps the cone on track for less distortion, while the sub's 4-layer voice coil combines with the frame's extensive venting to stand up to long listening sessions. This sub handles up to 450 watts RMS, so you can power it up for the kind of bass response that brings the best out of your music.

Rugged good looks

The box's downward-firing design helps protect the sub from damage, and lets you place items on top of the cabinet to save space. It can also be used as a front-firing sub for installations behind the rear seat. Its sturdy medium-density fiberboard construction and rugged black carpet covering with a stitched Kicker logo provide good looks that complement its performance.
